An amateur videographer from Medellin, Colombia recorded on video a mysterious aerial object in the sky above the forest. Reportedly taken on November 16, 2014, the footage made rounds online since it was uploaded on YouTube a few days ago.
A classic flying saucer in the sky seems to appear in a shaky video that also goes in and out of focus. The clouds make it very difficult to make out the object.
The video shows a saucer-shaped unidentified flying object in several places in South America. UFO Sightings Hotspot says the UFO is similar to the one found in South Wales, UK on 30th November 2014. However, the UFO recorded on video in South Wales is no longer available, and the one who uploaded the video closed his account.
The blog managed to get a screenshot of the UK sighting, which shows another saucer-like object.
A YouTube video that was uploaded in February 2014 shows a UFO over Medellin at night. However, some commenters believe that it was just a balloon that works similar to Chinese ones, candle makes it float by heating the air.
However, a few other apparent UFOs were observed over Medellin in the past years as reported by UFO Sightings Daily.
The blog said earlier in 2014 that one of the unusual objects flew near the Atanasio Girardot stadium, just hours before the final match between national champion and national junior.

Ok, I actually have a camera that takes video, but does not have manual focus, and that may be the case here, or the photographer simply didn't switch to manual focus, but for whatever reason, this video is almost useless. The shaking, in and out of focus, and in and out of frame, the constant zooming in and out, all makes this video difficult to watch, which may be the intention of the photographer. This can clearly and very easily be a balloon, either helium filled or heat filled by a candle of some kind, or even the units that come with Chinese lanterns. Someone can easily remove them from the lantern and affix them to their balloon, and if several are used the balloon can stay aloft for a long period of time. As you can see, after a while the object slowly descends below the tree line, this could be due to the ignition source being used up.
I can understand the shaky video, because when I had a very close sighting of a UFO , I was so rattled I could not have made a steady video, had I had a camera, I was practically incoherent I was so excited, so I am always amazed at the coolness of these people taking the shots. I guess everyone is different.
terrible video. interesting object. could be a blimp. too damned shaky.
Yeah, video was shaky. But also gave us points of reference--trees, buildings. Seems to me a balloon would have drifted more.
