I live on the east coast of fl as well. I saw a triangle light formation exactly like this 20+ years ago during a night time turtle walk along a remote beach. The 3 lights came on in the sky, just over the ocean, traveled south slowly, maintaining formation, and then disappeared. It was just like what you saw, very bright, large, but white.
