A Professional Pilot Thinks He Saw UFOs over Arizona

A witness from Arizona, who recognizes himself as a commercial pilot and aerospace engineer, mentioned being not able to determine a glowing light that moved inconsistently in the sky on September 19, 2012, based on the statement from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and a girlfriend moved outside when they noticed the sound of a military chopper and first saw the vibrant light.

“I said to her I believed it was the North Star or another glowing star when she stated, “No it’s moving.'”

The 2 got a nearer look at the UFO.

“Sure enough it was moving very inconsistently within around a 10-inch diameter circle in the beginning,” the witness said. “It was far away and regular travel distance could have been made the UFO appear very big. After seeing the moving light a number of other identical lights would come into and disappear in the sky. These others had a lot of distance than the ‘main’ craft.”

The witness called local police to report the event.

“At some point the main craft settled down and very slowly descended under the skyline. The other craft dissipated as well.”

The witness mentioned his professional aviation record.

“I am an aerospace systems engineer and also a helicopter and commercial airplane pilot. I have never seen an activity in the sky such as this before. Only on one other circumstance did I see a light moving in the sky back in 2000, but it was not the degree of this happening. I was able to explain that activity in my mind as a possible military or government high altitude moving aircraft. I usually try to rule out sightings by making certain they are not bugs, cosmic activity, satellites, aircraft and so on. In this situation the event was longer and to rule that this was some type of UFO activity is a probability.

No pictures or videos were provided with the MUFON report, which was registered on September 20, 2012. The event happened on September 19, 2012 around 7:45 p.m.

  • So many times people mention seeing a bright or glowing star and say that they thought it was the North Star. The North Star is neither bright nor glowing. It is a second-magnitude star that is not remarkable in any way, except for the fact that it is within a few degrees of direct North. I know that's not related UFO sightings directly, but I see it so many times in UFO reports. I don't
