It’s not the state or local police doing the flying, and the FAA is giving out little information, even to city officials. “It’s frustrating, it really is,” says City Councillor Brian Palmucci about his conversation with the FAA. “I specifically asked, ‘Is it a law enforcement flight? Can we tell people that?’
Sources tell WBZ that the aircraft is not a drone, that it is manned, and FAA spokesman Jim Peters said, “we have to be very careful this time” concerning information.

OK, so if its there for days on end, why no film???? Dahhh
this is ridiculous! not flying when cloudy, only star lit nights.why are frightened people being kept in the dark? if it's government owned, and people see it and have questions, why not just own up to it and hopefully people will stop being scared! oh but that would be too easy wouldn't it. i feel ordinary citizens are being kept in the dark to be controlled. these are strictly my
If its real why has no one filmed it????
on day people are going to get fed up with the government and its bullshit
Ok...Thats wonderful. Perhalps with all these concerned citizens for over two weeks..You think just one person could get a video...: )
Night flights can capture heat and light which could be a law enforcement or security issue. It could be ongoing surveillance of drug operations or potential terrorists. There are surely some other possibilities, but like these to government doesn't want to blow its cover. I would say the cover is over.
So tired of the Government. Manned! Not a drone! Its flying over your heads all night but its none of your business. Yea Right.
What's scary about an aircraft? Take pictures. so it's authorized? So what , what's the big mystery? Why doesn't the news media take pics? Have they been warned off, and why?<br />Maybe someone doing night flying to get their license? Big deal!
I know what it is, but I can't tell you anything about it, sorry. lol
These flights must be about something going on in the area rather than training or experimental flights, or else why not do it in the desert somewhere away from populated areas. That doesn't help much but at least I'm convinced it's something local.
