The photo seems to show a blurry saucer-like object in the horizon above the sea. The army wife says that her husband, who is currently in an international peace mission of the U.N., unintentionally captured the UFO while testing the different features on his new mobile phone during their beach outing in Kannur.
His husband reportedly had a new HTC-1 mobile phone and clicked random photos as part of checking different phone features when he unintentionally snapped a UFO.
The wife clarifies, however, that they did not see the actual UFO with their eyes. It was only after reviewing the photos when they noticed strange saucer-shaped object in the picture. They tried to look for the UFO in the sky but they did not see anything like what her husband captured in photo.
However, the couple’s claim about the UFO was rejected by a professor from known institute of astrophysics in Bangalore saying that the UFO was just an illusion caused by reflections of optics.
On Facebook, rationalist Sanel Edamaraku says that Android mobile phone app has feature that allows users to insert UFOs in a picture automatically.
