Sighting location: Weaverville, NC
Report: I have a video of a bright low flying object that moved just at, and at times, just below cloud cover. We were on a night vision stargazing tour, when clouds began to move in. I own a stargazing business, and this was an unusual object. We very frequently observe satellites, meteors, and conventional aircraft. My guides are usually very easily able to identify most object we see.
This object was unusual in that it had no navigational or pulsing lights, which are easily seen with the night vision, and it made absolutely no noise.

That is interesting. The light seemed to be moving back and forth like a search light or beam of light. Did it appear that way to anyone else?
See them mostly every night in Northeastern NC.
The ISS gets very bright when it passes overhead and is lit by the Sun which is over the horizon to us but up there it's still visible by the Space Station and it's this reflection that makes it appear to get brighter and then dimmer and finally when it's out of reach of the Sun it disappears. I've seen the same thing and looked up the ISS tracking page and indeed it just passed
last night here i caught the iss going by. it was further out in the sky instead of right over my head. i got to watch it for the longest i've ever seen it. it flashed bright at least three times, and looked spectacular cause i was watching it with binocs.
space debris entering our atmosphere moved about by magnetic gravity pull
it would be burning up within the first layer.
You're watching the ISS through cloud haze.
