World UFO Day

Next month it’s World UFO Day again! On July 2nd all eyes will be on the sky with parties and festivities. Since 2001 this awareness day or unnoficial holiday has been given a lot of attention, especially because it raised the big question amongst a lot of people: “Could there really be alien life out there?”.

To those who are not familiair with World UFO Day yet. On July 7th in 1947 a UFO supposedly crashed in the Rosewell Desert. This brought much media attention to the subject and in 2001 World UFO Day was declared on this day. On UFO Day people are invited to get together and celebrate the existence of UFOs. Ufologist Allen Benz says: unlike other organisations, we are not trying to force the government to disclose the truth. We are just collectively celebrating something that we already believe and know to be real!
