Lieutenant General A.G. Ponomarenko, commander of the Air Defense Forces in the Sverdlosvsk Military Region, was ordered by the Soviet Defense Ministry in March 1969 to give assistance in his full capacity to the local KGB authorities in the operation “Sverdlovsk Midget,” which means small aliens. The order was made through a letter signed by Colonel General S.D. Lebedey, USSR Air Defense Forces’ deputy commander in chief.
Some of the evidence that was discovered included a death certificate signed by three doctors, namely Kamyshoy, Savitsky and Gordeenko. The death certificate was issued on March 24, 1969 in Moscow region.
Another letter, dated November 3, 1969 on the KGB letterhead, addressed to Colonel Grigoriev, deputy chief of the scientific research department KGB USSR, stated that on 5th of March 1969, information about the discovery of the unknown object wreckage was received. The wreckage, which was 3 meter high and 5 meter in diameter, has remains of unidentified human-like creature.
A computer animation was made on the biological remains of the mysterious object’s crewman gathered by the KGB. They found out that the remains was not from human and it looked like a small grey alien.

These soldiers look like performing a parade for the camera. Just remember that Russians had excellent scientists, and these would have conducted precise and clever operations on the field. Not this parodic show, where a march of soldiers breaks to pick up pseudo debris.<br />Now, who has interest to substantiate this legend ? Tourist office ?
