Mass UFO sighting over Los Angeles, California

• All These people observing and Not one has a Zoom lens!! In this day of Cameras with high definition and very powerful zoom lenses why do we never see a hi res very clear picture? Also if there really was a ufo in the sky, why would you spend time videoing people looking up?

  • Many of us had zoom lenses at this event. This video was filmed with a Canon EF Telephoto lens at 900mm. Also the pictures were taken by a photographer. At most events John Graff the event photographer documents the people's reactions so we capture the whole experience. Moving forward we will be upgrading our lenses and recording to 4K. This video was filmed in HI res at 1080p. Anyone can attend these events as well and see this activity for themselves.

• I certainly am willing to accept their ability to call "things" to appear. However, we will have to agree to disagree relative they're origins and intentions. That said, why is there not High Resolution Video and/or Photo from a Telescope? Further, seems if MUFON really wanted to show the World "Proof" of other "things" within our realities, they'de have Helicopters and/or Planes at/around these events! Should they have proper equipment to view and video, that would be the "Smoking Gun" to Disclosure, would it not? I see things everyday, if I look hard enough, so, I'm not so sure we have to call them, as their already "HERE". As we move along, their true intents and purposes will be revealed and I don't think (they're)is going to prove in Humanities best interests.

• As a photographer, I am interested in the filter used to get the very clear video of the image of the structure. What kind of filter was used?

  • Hey Richard the filter used is from the "Looks" software program used with Premiere. Looks is my favorite filtering program. If you get Looks I can find the exact filter we used. Cheers!

• This is B.S., this guy is a known hoaxer, he has someone in the distance release balloons. That's all that object was, a balloon, it was caught in a down draft or swirling winds. The detail they showed is impossible to gather from what was visibly on the screen, it was just sunlight reflecting off of the balloon. This guy is always doing this, and it's not real, take my word for it.

  • That is not a balloon. Show me any footage of a ballon that perform those movements. If you really looked the video carefully and each analysis I'm surprised to hear that comment. No ballon can stop and hover or increase it's speed and change directions with that kind of force. Wind currents will not produce that movement. I've had this video analyzed by a few experts and it has been ruled an unknown.

• the guy who does these events has a massive ego, not sure about massive UFO sighting though. He is not a nice guy, why would they show up for that asshole i wonder? they show up fo me though :)

• Only a fatuous troll would make comments like joeboken; oscar & john presume these were Mufon events (no - besides, Mufon doesn't have the budget needed to rent a copter for a day and personnel to staff a major custom photographic video rig) These are not hoaxes, nor known hoaxers. With so many witnesses, to call it a hoax shows your lack of intellectual acumen and rationale. Go live your life watching tv, because you obviously cannot make logical analysis of such advanced tech.

  • Doc Moebius, I didn't say It was a hoax, and I do believe in UFO's. I simply asked the questions Why does no one ever have a zoom lens with high definition. And also asked why someone would spend time videoing the crowd with a UFO in the sky. I think that asking such questions actually shows intellectual acumen and rationale!

    • In fairness this object was filmed with a high end telephoto lens. Canon EF Series lens filmed at 900mm. This is one of the nicest telephoto lens on the market. Even so more magnification would help. Im planning on upgrading my system to 4K and at 2000mm. Also each event is usually photographed by John Graff the UFO event photographer. He literally takes pictures of every event to document the witnesses. If you research the Los Angles UFO Meet UPs you'll see this is a common event each month in Southern California.

• I'm not sure why questions and even debate precipitate some folk using condensing, confrontational and incorrect assumption in a response? But that said, I still would like to make the point; If it's a planned event, there is NO excuse for there not being Top Flight equipment to be in attendance and utilization. Further, I don't know what the cost is per hr for a two-seater in L.A. but I find it hard to believe, MUFON whether as a participant or an observer, couldn't find the Money if there were a sincere possibility of finding ??

  • MUFON has attended a few of these events. They have certainly never brought a drone or helicopter to any of these events. Despite the amount of sightings that have occurred at them. Bottom line is Summoning UFOs or CE-5 as Dr. Greer calls it is becoming a common place in cities worldwide. Hopefully MUFON will start investigating resources into confirming these events from their organization. As of now these events are hosted by every day people with little to no budget. With the goal of experiencing the phenomenon together.

• If u hadn't noticed, there is a trail of smoke when the UFO is first shown, depicting a trail of heat in the atmosphere. ?!!!
