Some of the most famous incidents include the 1954 UFO crash in Johannesburg, South Africa, in which a UFO was reported to have crashed into a residential area, and the 1989 UFO sightings in Zimbabwe, in which a large, triangular-shaped UFO was seen by multiple witnesses.
