Chinese lanterns.
We had these same "orbs" in NY. This is the 2nd year in a row. They are organized. They fly about 10-12 out. One went out and then came back and out again with the rest. NOT a chinese lantern.
I rescue dogs and I can state that the dog unequivocally senses danger or the abnormal — he is not barking to hear himself bark — he is barking as a warning and out of fright — you can hear the sheer stress on his vocal cords — this is the real mccoy.
wow is all i can say. The dang dog is freaked out and that is a very serious bark. A fight or flight type of bark.
This is a great video because the people seem really shocked at what they're seeing. The dog is going crazy because he's sensing something isn't right.
