LUFOS – Strange bright object was recorded slowly flying over Cape Coral, a municipality located in Lee County, Florida. This was taken on Tuesday, 13th December 2011.
I want to believe. Thing is, a lot of these could be hoaxes since it's really easy to put a small lightweight LED light in a helium balloon and let it float away. Or to tie a bunch together using many lights and then you have hundreds seeing it…then again, it could be real. Who's to say?
not chinese lantern folks,i seen the same light over my house at 6:15 p.m. tues..seen the same light again wed. night at 6:45 p.m.at my home in punta gorda, fla.
Sorry to burst your bubbles (er, lanterns?) but what you're looking at is, from quite a distance, is a first stage rocket headed for space. I am suprised that you, living in FLA, would be used to them by now? Maybe you just never payed attention? A rocket is launched every few days to send payloads into orbit, be it satellites, space station supplies, or whatever.

My husband and I recorded the SIMILAR UFO on December 13th in Cape Coral at TWILIGHT– we had to film it while driving by placing iphone out the car window. It was BRILLIANT, bright red ball– unlike anything I had ever seen!<br />http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9TlrMfP6kU&list=UUgkIy7jjbXwMZZBNtYsaBOg&index=1&feature=plcp
