My family saw something extremely similar over Derbyshire in 2009. Even through binoculars the shimmering haze around the object was the same.<br />Anyone else seen this type of anomaly with good visibility?

everyone who is interested with this phenomenon, please, i beg you, just look at your night sky and you will see all kinds of objects at certain times. Im tired of saying that ufos may be real, because they are, and i wish i could study the ancient history of civilizations other than humans, but yea that branch of knowledge does not exists "yet".
