The UFO sighting of the anonymous woman is just one of many that have been reported by the local newspaper. Another interesting report was from Victor Olsen, a retired train driver.
Olsen said that mysterious lights were the usual occurrences during night time, witnessed by train’s night shift employees. However, his most memorable UFO sighting he shared in the local newspaper happened in 1967. He said that he was travelling one evening from Maryborough to Bundaberg when a spinning, red UFO appeared in front of the train. He described the UFO as two saucers faced together. According to Olsen’s estimate, the craft was thirty-five feet wide and within fifteen feet in front of the train. Because of the distance, Olsen got a good look at it.
Olsen even went to say that he saw the UFO’s occupants. He described them as long neck with elongated head beings. Olsen asserted that he and his team was told by the armed forces to shut up in order not to scare people.
