If you go out on any clear night you'll see satellites, lots of them. The object you say goes behind another object is a trick of light through the lens. The same effect was shown in relation to the NASA "tether" incident with the space shuttle. There were a bunch of ice particles flying around out of focus closer to the camera than the tether and appeared to go behind it when in
