UFO sightings – These two huge disc-shaped objects were seen and recorded in the sky above Rome in Italy on 5th September 2013.Witness report: bright object appeared September 5, 2013 time 1:00 am in the sky of Rome. since the object becomes smaller and releases other objects was no longer visible to the naked eye but only to night vision.

Maybe air-to-air refueling (AAR)?
Nope. Of course you'd need experience to tell the difference. Those are very bright lights. Mid air re-fueling happens at high altitude over great distance.
There wouldn't be two planes refueling at the same time.
